How do I delete & Acquire my extra space on this HP Computer???

My Computer advertised @ 500 Gigs, I have 465.8 Gigs.

It has a 13.2 gig Recovery Partition.

Also: I have made (3) Recovery Disks & I have backed up my Computer with Acronis True Image.
My Recovery Disks "DO NOT" give me option to delete my recovery partition in (Advanced Options).
I realize that I can't acquire all 500 Gigs.....But, I am Minus 35 gigs, that is a lot of Space that I need.

    Thank You in Advance

In Vista and Windows 7, go to Start and in the search field type:

create and format hard disk partitions

This will launch Disk Management. It should let you delete and create a
new partition with the extra space and then assign it a drive letter.

You can use Disk Management to assign drive letters to hidden XP
partitions this way as well to make them show up in Windows 7 if you dual boot.
