How do I extract my key from win8?

    I had a bizarre incident and had to call Microsoft tech support directly to get windows 8 activated. For some reason win8 keeps deactivating itself, and even tech support couldn't get it activated and they had to use a brand new key on a fresh non-upgrade install of win 8 pro to get me up and going again.

    They never emailed me my key and want to know how I can retrieve it from within windows in case it deactivates itself again and I need a reinstall again.

    I always use nirsoft produkey to recover my microsoft product-keys.

    I have tested it on my machine and it seems to work fine with win 8 and office 2013.
