How do I make XP Pro genuine?

    Hi all. I installed a win XP pro SP2 CD on my friend's computer. I was wonder how I can make it genuine so it can be used without a problem. It seems it has 60 days left until something happens.

    CAn anyone help?

    Read the stickes and search..

    use AntiWPA or use a OEMSLP key for XP.

    I am trying but I do not understand...Can you direct me with some links that are not confusing? Does AntiWPA work? What does OEMSLP key mean?

    Use the oembios installer in the stickies...the SLP is already there..you must read and learn..before you undertook the job would have been best.;)

    You have 60 days to get it, but I will give you a head start.

    Use the HP oembios files in the stickies as well as the installer tool to install the serial/oembios.

    BTW..Antiwpa is mostly for borked activation and 64 bit problems..I would not suggest it unless absolutely necessary.
