Hey, i installed the windows 7 64x from this post http://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/7126-The-Official-Windows-7-Repository

and every time i startup the computer, i get 2 choices in the win boot manager, between windows 7 and "win 7 loader xe"

How do i remove one of them so the computer boots up automatically, and are there any consequences?

    Thank you
    Christian

Exactly how many loaders did you use? If you use Daz loader and press uninstall it will remove all pevious loaders or you can go to repository seciton 6-H and use cmds to clear any loaders then just use Daz loader again.

I tried to use the 1.7.9 daz loader and press uninstall: then i installed the loader default mode and i still run into the same problem. How do i do the repository seciton 6-H thing?? or are there any other alternatives?

He may use "Windows 7 Loader eXtreme Edition" [an extreme crappy loader], which creates two boot entry for safety [!!]. Anyway, only DAZ can save him by his loader.....

http://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/7126-The-Official-Windows-7-Repository and then in start button type cmd then right click it then enter this command:

    bootsect.exe /nt60 all

    and press enter

then reboot then install latest Daz loader here http://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/8632-Program-based-Windows-7-loader?p=265649#post265649

Still wont work. Do i need to uninstall the daz 1.7.9 loader first or are there any other previous steps i need to take.

My bad...lol You have to do this from PE (Preinstalation Environment) with your windows 7 disk at boot. Then boot from disk and follow those instructions in seciton 6-h

So i restart my computer and choose the xe loader, then i restart again and it will be gone? Is this a commin problem? The strange thing is that the problem was there before i even installed the loader. Right when i installed the windows copy i got from this forum.
