I would like to simply drop in a shortcut of say a .jpg file which is set to open with Adobe Acrobat in some secrete folder. What I really want is for the computer to boot up, start Acrobat and have it display the .jpg so when I get back to the computer there is the Picture all ready to add text to. (I go for coffee right after pushing the ON button every morning.)
Perhaps I should be asking how to write a java script that does this task and set it to start in the registry. I just need to know how.
I don't really want to have the computer on Stand By all night as I want a genuine Power off of the computer opps play room. So something like a soldering station and other toys will have less of a chance of starting a fire. (third bedroom)

    I found a fix myself

Create a shortcut to the .jpg (which must be set to open with Adobe Acrobat) on the desktop. Cut the short cut Icon and paste it in :
    C:/Documents and Settings/Local User/Start Menu/Programs/Startup
Re-Boot and Acrobat will start with the .jpg all ready for work.
To stop it delete the Short Cut from the Startup folder.
