How do you drag an app icon from search to desktop ?

    The search is there to find apps, trying to drag an icon/shortcut to the desktop from the search or start menu does not work, what were Microsoft thinking ? :g:

    Do we have to physically delve into the path with explorer and create a shortcut from there, not very practical with all the times you have to click, click, click...

    I know Classic Shell very well, but I do not want to load more 3rd party startup items with Win10

    Pin to Start, then drag to desktop!

    Thank you I notice it is Left Mouse drag & not Right Mouse drag as it used to be :)

    another problem
    we can drag a shortcut from start menu to desktop but not from desktop to start menu
