    Hi
First of all, sorry for my stupidity, maybe I should move to some linux and use stuff right out of the box and don't care about this all o_O

I know how download original iso's of windows from microsoft web, according to MDL tutorial. ok np.
I know how download original office iso's from some russian web, according to MDL tutorial. ok np.
I know how to activate win, office from some russian ratiborus web, according to MDL. ok np.
But what I don't know, how to update both correctly with original microsoft fixes, but excluding telemetry or other toxic crap updates.

    I just downloaded this: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...tem-Integrate-hotfixes-into-Win7-distribution
Double clicked on that 620 MB .exe file, sit back and watch. I saw also some Dism and windows cleaner, is it all ok ? Was I supposed to see it ?

1, Is everything legit (malware free) on these MDL pages ? Are here programmers who verify all scripts, codes, activators, outside download links ? Can stupid beginners (me) rely on everything downloaded from here ?

2, If Simplix updater tool is supposed to do all automatically without user interaction - just sit back and watch ? I should have no worries that I did something wrong ? There is no place for mistakes, right ?

3, Now, I really where to find similar thing as Simplix for Office 2010, 2016. I found here some WHDownloader. I downloaded it, it downloaded lists of updates, but there is everything. I don't know which updates are good and which are bad. What should I do with WHD please ?

4, I came across also this InstallerOfficeV14d.zip by abbodi1406. But that script said, it need update .exe files. But I haven't any. Where to get plain files of good updates for that script please ?

Thank you for your patience and good will. I appreciate and thanks for this awesome forums.

Quickinstall said in readme file, that if I don't understand text inside, I should use normal installer:
Installer for Microsoft Office Updates Script V13a by Burf
So I downloaded it and ran, but it's similar script as your script: InstallerOfficeV14d.

1, Which is better or why exist two similar script for same thing ?

2, Those scripts need already downloaded update files, which I don't have.
Where to download all at once for user's office version ? Similar easy way as with Simplix tool for windows ?

3, Office 2016 haven't telemetry also ? So it's good to download and install EVERYTHING what is microsoft offering ?

    Thank you

edit: ah i see now, it's same thing but other versions. i downloaded all updates with WHDownloader. it was 64. Put script in folder, but it's installing just 51 updates, why ?

    1. None is better or worst
InstallerOfficeV14d handle .exe updates, which are the default files downloaded by WHDownloader, and are unique per KB number and office version, thus can exist together

Quickinstall handle .msp updates, which are contained within .exe, but they are generally named without KB number or office version

if you already have .msp files, just run Quickinstall script

    2. That is the main purpose of WHDownloader, to give you latest updates

    3. Office 2016 have built-in telemetry, updates don't add it or affect it

which version you mean and what script?

Sorry for delay (xmas reasons :)
    Lets summarize all please

A, All good sorted out Windows updates available after fresh Windows install, can be done easily and fool proofly throught Simplix tool: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...tem-Integrate-hotfixes-into-Win7-distribution
    Correct ?

B, But what will I do after let's say four months after ? I don't want download and upack another whole big 700 MB file with updates ? How will I find, install just new and sorted out Windows updates please ?

C, Right after office install, I may download totally all updates (all are safe as you told) with WHDownloader: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/66243-WHDownloader-Download,
then put into download folder this script: InstallerOfficeV14d.zip and script will install all.
    Correct ?

CC, But that script didn't install to me all downloaded updates, I don't know why. Please explain.

D, Also same situation as with Windows, what will do after four months to get just few new office updates ? I guess I open again WHDownloader and solve it with it;; then use script again, correct ?
Script will figure out new updates, won't install it all again, correct ?

    Many thanks

    A. Correct
but you need to manually install kb3172605 to fix WU long scan issue

    B. Ues Windows Update

    C. Correct
you can also put InstallerOfficeV14d next to WHDownloader.exe and it will scan Updates directory

CC. How it did not exactly? did you keep .exe updates?

    D. Yes, InstallerOfficeV14d will skip installed updates

    1. Telemetry updates are optional, so only install Important updates

    2. Yes you may have some updates, or some don't apply to your Office product
you could check Windows Update (activate Microsoft Update) to see what office updates are offered

Why simplix does not include mentioned: kb3172605 to fix WU ?
If it fixes long loading of updated in windows update ? Everybody uses WU after install simplix.
    Please explain.

Does anybody know, how works office 2016 telemetry ? Does it use a lot of connection bandwith of poor speed connections ?

    Thanks
