How is Slic 2.1 Validated ?

    I have been unable to activate Windows ultimate, I have re-installed
    windows about 4 times but windows without success.
    My modded Bios has Slic 2.1
    I don`t know what the problem is the Dump slic info indicates that
    Slic status reads `Invalidated`
    Is it the cause of why windows cannot be activated. ?
    If it is, how do I validate the Slic ?
    Please help me, I am stuck.

    And you done the SLIC 2.1 in what way? Tool, by hand etc?

    By modifying the Bios manually.

    Then you done it wrong.
    Look at XSDT/RSDT tables

    I realised the RSDT value is displayed in red meaning something
    is wrong but do not know what the problem is or how to rectify it.
    I would appreciate if could help me.

    Start from fresh & use Andy's tool, you did not even say what mobo it is

    Here it is.
    Motherboard Manufacturer : Dell
    Model : Dell Inspiron 700m (Laptop)
    Bios Revision : A07 Release Date : 3/27/2006
    Bios Type : Phoenix NoteBios 4.0
    seems like I have to reflash the bios as the
    modding was not successful as win 7 cannot
    be activated eventhough there is slic 2.1
