Just saw few posts about Windows 10 Anniversary update. This got me to wondering when and how this war will end. What I mean is the war between MS and the enthusiasts, hackers and all who want more control over their Os's. MS has the the money and resources the others only have their willpower and persistence. Sort of like the Revolutionary War. Please give your opinion

Until Steam and game devs going full Linux support, that will be my straight up cue to leave Windows scene forever.

last 4 words of my previous post will be the reply to this lol.

There will NEVER be full linux support for anything remotely close to mainstream like Windows, until linux devs and the core communities get their head out of their elitist butts

Windows 7 has support until at least 2020. All the power users can have the control they want.

This has an easy answer my friend: until people drop windows, stop using W10 right now, stop using any MS tablet, and dont even think of phones. Move to linux/Android, and if you want to play your old games use win7 dual boot and be done with it. I use a 8.1/arch dual boot and will never go near W10 again it has gotten to a point where its way too malicious and keeps getting worse, yet people ignore all this because you cant actually see all your data being collected right in front of your eyes, its all implemented at kernel level probably by now, with that devilious PrivacyPolicy you must be mad to keep using 10. All your tweakers dont do s**t.

MS just doing what holders saying no choice for them
there no war, mb cold one.

but let's say what we can see, client market is dead, no enough PC sold no OS's selling,
No choice else to change to new way to make profit.

I don't like the changes ms doing ,Windows is solid platform with a lot of trust , but Google "doing" it in mobile and in much more depth, worsening the privacy problems so MS is saint here compere to others

yesterday it was activation war now its data "war", no changes everything is the same :)
