What bugs exactly? I'm using W10 for about 2 weeks, i had 0 issues with drivers and 90% of the time i'm playing games (+ streaming).
Using Win10 on both machines (one Pro and other Enterprise, upgraded from leaked 10176 build..was surprised that worked). Works fine. Hate telemetry, but will wait and see what happens for now before I attempt to disable it.
i have it on all my computer's in my home LAN, 6 desktop's and 3 laptop's, i'm using windows 10 enterprise and office 2016 with kms, so i think that i need to vote 9 times .
I have installed lubuntu 15.04 x64bit as a base for a modded version of Cinnamon. 1.Setup: Installed lubuntu & updated. Then installed cinnamon with: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:moorkai/cinnamon sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install cinnamon from lubuntu desktop. 2.Added addons: Start Menu: Ripped Cinnamon Start Menu (Mint version) from Linuxmint-17.2-cinnamon-64bit.iso Wallpaper: Ripped Ontario.jpg wallpaper from Linuxmint-17.2-cinnamon-64bit.iso Theme: Installed light-themes_14.04+15.10.20150721-0ubuntu1_all.deb Terminal: Installed Mate (version) for Transparent Background. 3.Cinnamon setup: Logged into Cinnamon and setup to how i like it. Then from lubuntu desktop set title bar buttons for cinnamon with: gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences button-layout ':minimize, maximize, close'
It's a minor improvement over W8.1 imho, but it's newer and all the applications I use work fine so I'll run with it unless I come across a show stopper (but I doubt it). Not to fussed about the telemetry issue as long as it can be disabled or blocked.
All 3 of my daily drivers are updated, I even re-installed 7 then upgraded my Linux HTPC box to secure the upgrade, though that one is back to Linux now since there's a problem with the HDMI overscanning in Windows and AMD didn't release a Catalyst Control Center for that card in 10, so I can't change the setting. My tablet keeps crashing on the pen, so I might have to roll that one back to 8.1. Laptop also seems sluggish after the upgrade which is strange since that was the same machine I was testing the Insider with and that ran fine. Reinstalling Malwarebytes seemed to have helped, and if all fails I might roll back or do a clean 10 install. Desktop was the most trouble-free.
I have Windows 10 on one of my computer so that I can become familiar with it. However, the privacy concerns are keeping me from using it on the computer I use for personal (important) chores. The breakdown here is: Desktop 1: Windows 7 / Linux (daily driver) Desktop 2: Windows 7 / Windows 8.1 / Windows 10 / Linux (test box) Desktop 3: Linux only (multi-use server) Laptop 1: Linux only Laptop 2: Linux only Laptop 3: Windows 7 / Linux Laptop 4: Windows 7 only (wife's machine)
My main workstation/gaming PC is Win10 Pro x64 now; have not upgraded our g3258 or q9450 boxes from 7 yet but will probably do so within the next week or so. Very happy with 10 despite the privacy concerns and having to disable and tweak to correct what should not have been done in the first place.
I have done the update on both of my personal machines so I could do a clean install of Win 10 Pro. I would like to use Win 10 but all this spying talk has me in two minds and I simply dont understand if I should be scared, put off or unconcerned. Then theres talk of Win 8 spying as well ???? Recon I will install it as my main OS but when ? Cant make my mind up. The poll does show more people using than not.
Windows 10 I use Win 10 after upgrade from 8.1, "piloted" by KMSpico ... It works well and Win 10 is a great OS!
