How much Virtual memory

    I recently upgraded my PC's memory from 4GB to 8GB & I saw that Windows allocated 8GB of Virtual memory although it says that max. recommended Virtual memory should be 4GB,which led to decrease in my Hard drive space....So,I want to know that exactly how much Virtual memory should I allocate to Windows? I'm using Windows 8 Pro 64bit.

    With 8GB+ memory you can set the pagefile to 2 GB fixed
