    Hello,

    I've searched the forum for this information but I don't quite understand how activation works in this case.
    I suppose, as the bios is virtual, that I can't use tools like "win loader".

    Is it possible to activate Vista on Virtual PC?
    Can you give me pointers, tutorials that explain the concept?

    Thanks!

    @ Nick@Number11 : Okay, thanks I'll read that! Would it work with the latest VPC or just the 2007 version?

    @Tito : Well, not for me. It says it installed correctly but when it reboots, Windows displays the "not genuine" message o_O

    @ Nick@Number11 : I downloaded it here (can't post links) :

    - Google search for "virtual pc", click on first link
    - Click "Get Windows XP Mode and Windows Virtual PC now"
    - Click "Don’t need XP Mode and want VPC only? Download Windows Virtual PC without Windows XP Mode." (There is another link for VPC 2007 on the right)

    @Tito : Sure!

    The loader will not work with VPC 2007 because of changes made for Hyper-V support. I have PM'd you a link to an earlier version.
