how to activate windows 10

    good afternoon folks

    i'm a longtime mac user trying to activate windows on my macbook using boot camp. i've managed to install windows (using an iso from microsoft's website) but i'm not sure how to activate it or find an activation key

    i'm using windows 10 home btw

    any help would be greatly appreciated :)

    yes i know that but he used bootcamp to install windows on his macbook.

    what i meant is that he can look for that license key in an old pc machine. :)

    thanks so much! @ everyone else, i'm planning on getting a legit license when i build a proper gaming pc (soon), this is just to make the transition from mac to windows easier

    you don't need to activate windows for using it. Just install and run it, everything will work except the personalization settings, which doesn't effect the functionality of windows.
    And afaik personalization option is also available for 30 days, but i m not sure about that.
    Still, activation isn't needed for "getting to know windows".
