How to boot from DVD with a Toshiba Satallite i7

    I'm new to the new the new Toshiba Satellite laptop. I recently purchased it from Toshiba, and I cannot discover how to boot from the DVD drive that is built into the laptop. Lastly, can someone tell me how to get ride of the Toshiba boot screen? I have a old desktop with the traditional keyboard. I would really appreciate any and all assistance with my issues.

    What is the exact model of the laptop??

    The model number is L50t-A, PSKLJU-043038 Notebook Computer (FG). If you need the serial number, I can supply that as well if needed.

    Seriously, all my Toshiba's came with this information.
