    hello all

I have formatted my laptop and installed 32bit instead of 64bit by mistake ,is there anyway to change it back to 64bit without loosing the current windows version as i installed hardware and drivers !

    Thanks

Unfortunately there is no upgrade or downgrade option between 32bit and 64bit Windows. If you want to have a windows 7 32 bits installation you have two other options. The first one is running it in a virtual machine and the other option a dual boot your system. You can make another partition and keep the installation of 7 x64 in one partition and windows 7 x86 in the other

You will need to make another partition and boot from dvd or bootable usb to install windows on new partition at the end of the day you would be just a quick formatting and starting again.

No you cannot install windows from an ISO file on Hard Drive you need to either burn it do dvd with ISO burning program or make bootable USB flash drive.
