Can it be done, guys? Does Vista allow for it at all? Somebody asked, as they wanna use Trados [translation SW] - and the hack needs MAC address to be changed - how to do it, as they tried and failed...... Equally, is it possible in W7? Thanx!!!
You may find the adapter software that comes from the manufacturer of the NIC may give you that ability too. There are some valid reasons too. NTL used to use the MAC address of your connecting PC when setting up a cable connection. If you wanted to use a PIX firewall this wouldn't work. Fix was to spoof the MAC of the PIX when setting up the connection and then plug the PIX in.
