What did your computer come with, xp or vista?
Is there a sticker on side, an oem sticker with serial, for that os?
No my system is assembled one. It is not the company system and now i am using XP Pro SP3 x86 OS.
You can try SLIC DUMP ToolKit x86/x64 (Includes PKey&Cert. Backup) but i doubt it very much if you will have slic in bios considering it is not an OEM machine i,e branded dell HP e.c.t
I verified my SLIC with Everest Ultimate Edition. But i did n't find any thing about SLIC. So i thought that SLIC is not there in my BIOS. IF i update my motherboard BIOS do i have SLIC table in my motherboard?
But i have a question here. Is SLIC is included only in OEM systems (i.e., in Desktops and laptops) or will it available in other systems. If we buy an assembled PC with all latest configuration do we have SLIC in that? Because now most of the independent motherboards manufactures (Asus, Gigabyte and Biostar) making their boards ready to run Windows 7. If it is OK i'll buy a new gaming motherboard from Asus and a compatible ATI graphics card from XFX for Windows 7 and to play games. Please give me some information on this.
How about you try to learn something?
SLIC is mainly included with OEM stuff, but Vista SLIC 2.0 is also included with Asus barebones units
Hi Urie, I purchased a vostro 3560 with i73632q and intel hm77 with ubuntu that I have formatted and installed win7 pro 32bit from MS without activation. I plan to install win7 64 bit ultimate - dell oem on it. To check slic version I used slic toolkit 3.2 version, but it did not list slic version (Says- Dump error, slic table not found)- neither did the rw utility 1.4. Could you please help me find the slic or if it is not there, then to create it in my pc.
