how to checked the usb voltage of my laptop ? low voltage to high voltage usb port.

    Hi everyone,

    I would like to know if there is a program to check the voltage of my usb port from a laptop.

    I know there are devices that require high voltage and low voltage via usb port.


    Is there a way to check is the device plug into a usb port is using either high or low voltage?

    is there a way to make low voltage usb port to a high voltage usb port?

    USB devices usually draw the amount of power needed automatically.

    usb ports can't change voltage, its fixed 5V, but they can change amperage.. but usually laptop ports are limited to 500mA.
