How to completely uninstalle the apps from Mac?

Yes, most of the users have an application for that: freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/
It is one of the most popular apps for that purpose and it is free.

 

I just move them to trash and empty it, there can be some leftovers but it's usually not so much like on Windows, so I see no need for AppCleaner.

find the program name or company and inside it.

 

i'm using AppCleaner since 5 years and still happy

 

to remove every trace i do this:
sudo find / > /Users/<yourname>/Desktop/allfiles.txt

then i grep all i know about the App/Publisher

cd Desktop
cat allfiles.txt | grep icrosoft

do this grep for all you know about the Prog and you will find all files connected to it

 

Most of the apps in Mac can be uninstalled easily by dragging them to trash from application folder and many other comes with accompanying uninstall applications that will clean house and completely remove the apps too. Additionally, there are third party utilities for OS X that removes apps very easily.

 

AppZapper is great. It's simple, works, no bloatware.
