how to convert a usb exfat to fat32

    i have a usb which is in exfat format, i tried from winXP winVista and Win7 but i couldn't format it into fat32

    in windows xp its not even showing a usb, in Winvista & win7 only formating in exfat format

    need help :confused:

    I think is not possible to convert exfat to fat32, but in ntfs for me it's ok.

    just click start>run>type CMD and after convert X: /fs:ntfs


    PS: Instead X type the Letter of your usb storage.

    Why do you want to convert? Just backup the data on the usb to hard drive, then format the drive in fat32 and copy the files back.

    1st of all in winXP its not even shownig that thr's a usb attached to the pc,
    in win7 & winvista its only formating in ntfs but at 99% it gives an error and cancel the operation, i haven't capture the error otherwise i could hav posted it hr
