    XP Home and Pro are two different versions, you can't make XP Pro out of an XP Home edition disc. I know, that you prefer not to download, but it is the only way. On the forum somewhere, you can download a retail untouched copy of Xp Pro SP3.

    Ditto..You can get some of the same features with reg hacks and such, but it will never be XP Pro..

    +1, XP Home converted will never be XP Pro, your options would be to get a copy of XP pro OEM disc from Dell or make your own oem SLP disk.

    @urie & @911medic
    I'm not saying it becomes a 100% xp pro, I would say that this answers the question, once installed, we have a XP pro on hand with all the features of XP Pro except for features that require files missing from the CD version of the Home.
    To have test it in company, that works without any problems (except the installation of a service pack).
    This is a XP pro for poor.
    Try this hack is amazing!

    EVERYTHING is against the EULA....just not well enforced...:cool:

    M$ has effectively limited the XP license to install, and even that is suspect...:D
