How to create a Recovery Partition?

Discussion in 'Windows 8' started by Deleted member 222776, Dec 8, 2016.

Hello guys. I'm interested in creating a backup for a windows system just like when you purchase a new laptop and it comes with a recovery partition. The idea is to be able to get into this partition via bootmgr and restore a complete backup of the OS when it is unbootable and/or has unrecoverable errors.

    Does something like this exist?
    Thank you

If Windows is damaged, it is wise to do a clean install, but not restore the 1812 year situation.

Probably the simplest method that will restore a damaged system without reinstallation is to create an image of the system while it is healthy. You use any imaging software, like Acronis, store the image on an external drive and put it back in place when needed.
