I want to create mirror link for some ISO that I downloaded from MDL. How can I do that? Only thing I know is that I'll have to upload so I would be requiring some free (file host), resumable (upload manager) options.
https://anonfile.com/ offer 10GB for free (they had until recently a 100GB free offer) cloud.mail.ru offer 8GB for free - you can login with a anonymous Yandex email account.
Windows ISO are hard to find for a reason . They are actively hunted by bots and taken down very very fast. Tested lately with EVAL ISOs for 1709 and Server 2016 on several different hosters to no avail. They went down shortly after the upload.
as first step try mega.nz create some accounts for PRIVE & some for PUBLIC share upload your files to PRIVE & import to PUBLIC share every time PUBLIC get blocked just create a new account & import files from PRIVE share only links from PUBLIC share
I guess those bots are matching hashes to take down iso's. if anyone put them in a archive (to change hashes) then i suppose it can be safely stored.
Didn't work in my tests. Seems it would need splitting and password protection. SVF is better for storing such stuff .
Password and encryption, yes. I have a much better solution: place the iso image inside another iso. You'll never have a problem with this method.
Are mirrors actually (actively) needed? I mean, even if I decide to contribute by providing some mirror, I don't know which softwares should I choose.. Spoiler https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...original-from-vlsc.65644/page-64#post-1469369 Edit: Apparently, when Opened with WinRAR, the archived file has different Checks (CRC32) when password is added
If supported it will hide the contents / list inside the archive, yes. Some bots open the archive and decide by contents shown no matter if encrypted.... From my own experience if renaming to something completely different and then rar it with encryption the ISOs are usually save. Bots decide strictly....by the name and original size.....and probably by file extension. The issue with completely different filenames is that people don't have an own relation to the ISOs themselves..like "summer_2018_pictures" to windows LTSC 2019.ISO.
safe, but.. I prefer a private 500 fiber optic cable in both directions and a script that only 5 users at the time give access and gives the rest a ticket with date and time for access.
