lets end this with simple answer: search in windows 8 metro screen mode is very easy. no need to find where to type for search. whole metro screen is "search" place/windows/box. so just type the key words and it will display results in three categories viz, Apps, Settings, Files if concerned. and if you are in desktop mode then just hit windows logo key/button and type the key words defrag and it will show the results. generally entering initial few letters show the probable results but some applications needs to be typed in full name. see the result for the subject word "defrag"; Your defrag word shows 1 result under "Apps" and 2 results under "Settings". have a nice day.
Seriously, guys... isn't it possible to write an answer without using foul language? Re-read your posting after writing it. If it contains foul language, maybe consider writing it again? Or sleep a night over it and post then. Unbelievable.
To defrag a drive in Windows 8: Open Windows Explorer. Left click the drive in the left part of the window. On the top of the page will appear "Drive Tools". Go up and click on the box "Drive Tools". The defragmenter tool will appear as an option. Click on the icon, and the window will open to defragment your drive. After playing around with it, I think it does a better job in Windows 8 than it did in previous windows versions.
