All of a sudden in my win 8.1 when I mouse over video or audio files the files start playing in a thumbnail window. I have checked all settings even in the registry and everything is set to show icons instead of thumbnails. Have deleted thumbs.db to no avail. This is in win explorer. The taskbar is fine, no thumbnails. It's really aggravating when trying to right click a file for properties and have it start playing in a thumbnail. Any way to end this.
    TIA
    Bill

    This is what I get:

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

OK folks, got this figured out. An option in QTTabBar got flipped and started showing the thumbnails. No idea how this happened since it's been over a year since I went into options.
