Hello, you know the tried and tested ways to turn off microsoft updates (Windows 10 Pro) forever I've tried many programs with different script settings but after some time and so updated and the worst possible uninstall even as an administrator on the command line, write me your ways the more attempts the more chance that the system will not be updated anymore, greetings

ps. soon I will be installing the system and I think to install windows 1703 and then all updates will be turned off. What complication is the best? let me know from which period windows 10 worked best

At least I would do the monthly Cumulative updates. Download them manually.

Why manually, if You can disable new version but still get updates for current version as usually.

Easiest way would be just to install latest CU update and then stop the Windows Update service right?
    Why complicate things?

don't leave your PC connected to internet if you haven't updated you Windows, otherwise you could be affected by 0day vulnerabilities and your PC could become a new zombie machine part of a botnet.

I'm liking your post because I get what you mean by the reaction but that is how I roll on my gaming machine.
After a fresh install I always install the latest CU and disable the Windows Update service.

Don't really see any wrong with that? o_O

    ;)

i see doing that manually every month windows is a service now... CU and other intel driver updates will be a constant.

Unfortunately yes, but no one forcing you to install the CU every month.
I'm usually doing fresh installs every 6 months and that's enough for me to install the latest CU of the time.

your missing the point CUs are fixes for mayor bugs in the OS and ofcourse security patches and u dont want to be with out does...and for user who game u run a high risk connecting to gaming server does get hit all the time by Russian and Chinese hacker sense many of them are not secure or poorly secure great place to get boot....but hey is your box u maintain it they way u see fit.

Well it might be a unconventional way I'm treating my box but I'm seeing CU as a Service Pack more then anything else and besides my gaming rig is offline so Russians and Chinese hackers begone...

You do not really those those, Windows is perfectly safe without them until then next uprgade, problems caused by CU are way way worse.
It seems, that with an each upgrade, CU are getting worse, I would not even bother updating, but still waiting for the fix for network protocols.

Disable all PC update client component forever and do offline update when you wish.

    Reverse (delete remove restrictions)
