How to display subtitles in Windows Media Player 6.4 using DirectVobsub in Windows 95 OSR2?

    I installed DirectVobsub 2.23v on Windows 95 OSR2, but shortcuts such as configuration did not run, and no subtitles such as *.smi (SAMI) or *.srt were displayed in Windows Media Player 6.4. Is there a way to download a version older than 2.23v or to run 2.23v on Windows 95?
