how to do with dualboot..and removal?

    i want to do a dualboot with my win 8.1...i will put in on a different partition on the same drive

    but if i then want to remove it...i delete the partition, but how do i do with the dualboot?

    for how to remove the dual-boot if you delete the 2nd OS:
    just "bcdboot c:\windows" and it will detect system partitions and auto-assign the bcd stuff for you.

    Run "msconfig" in win8, in the "boot" tab delete whatever boot item(s) you don't need. :D

    thanks to all replys :) well i used TITOS link...and it worked out just fine..and thanks for all other inputs..its good to have :) well win 10 looks nice and is going to be a better os then windows 8.1 is someday
