Hi everyone, I want to try modding the bios on an acer aspire m1640 mobo. I have downloaded and extracted the ami tool and got the latest bios from acer but I'm a bit confused as to where I can get all the slics, slps and certs and which ones to use. I think I got them in the zipped version 1.54 of the ami tool but there appears to be 4 or 5 different .bins for the acer all with almost identical names. How do I know which to use? Unfortunately I'm not in front of the pc now so can't say exactly the file names. Now I could post in the request section for someone to do it for me but I want be able to do it myself - it's all part of the challenge. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks Muttley.
Thanks nick, but I want to try to do it all myself and hence why I didn't request it in the request section. I was just looking for some more guidance on how to do it. Muttley
