How to get a legit keywithout downloading the upgrade assistant???

    I have the retail dvd and installed but I want to buy a legit key for 39.99 and just change key over. any help would be great?/ link to answer?

    Just buy the Key. if asked to download the WUA in first place, just do that, it's just a few MB's. After that you can decline to download the Upgrade ISO and still get your Key.
