As we know that Babylon v10 (babylon[dot]com) and TranslateIt! 14 for Mac are free as long as we only use the dictionary look up functionality. However, - from babylon[dot]com, we can only download the online installer. - only within Mac App Store, we can download and use TranslateIt! 14 for free. Both these two dictionary and translation softwares are great. Therefore, we may want to keep offline installers for them just in case their publishers change from free to paid, or future versions are not compatible with our systems. So, does anyone know how to get offline installers for these two softwares? I tried to get an offline installer for Babylon v10 with VMWare Thin Apps but failed. I also tried to get an offline installer for TranslateIt! for Mac by compressing the TranslateIt.app into TranslateIt.zip. This zip file works for the same system but doesn't work for other systems.
