I have removed few apps I thought I wouldn't need, also some apps are just gone like shortcut to show display, any idea to get them back?? Thanks..
i believe should be like that : win+f find the applications then right click ---pin...should working if you don't uninstaled them from pc...In that case you may to search to the Internet
if you Uninstalled, they are gone. If you Unpinned, you can just use the search view to pin them back on the startscreen (Windows key + i (not L))
Thank you all for your replies.. Well it's about Internet explorer and a shortcut to go to desktop.. I didn't remove desktop and now it's not there and I can't get it back also by searching for it.. About IE, it's open IE in normal desktop way and all addons are disabled while opening it.. though if some app open IE, it opens the one is Metro but when I click on it, it opens the default in my desktop.. Any suggestions..?? Thnx.
As for me...an application indeed opens IE in Immersive window but at my Laptop everything is works fine until I push this button for view IE desktop... I have also an ideea...perhaps you go with mouse in the left side of screen ahd click there...so the OS revert back to desktop wiew...An other ideea, run sfc/scannow ,restart and then run automatic maintenance...manually....that would resolve the things...
Apps I did a disk clean up with disk clean 2010 and my default apps have gone, how can i get them back.
I tell you how i installed WDP:Once downloaded and prepared on DVD I boot-up from DVD and let Windows to format disk c and the system partition(that system partition was created once I had installed W7) and the rest is history....I had few little problems but now everything is workink fine
I do no spamm...I try to give just hepl...if shenj has something against me...or because I am from RO?
Nobody asked how to install WDP, end of story. What you currently do is spamming every thread with topic irrelevant posts (yes thats called straight spamming/counter pushing), won't hurt to post topic relevant stuff..
If your windows live Id is an e-mail account, they may have send you an e-mail, and you need to click that link to reply.
The tiles are located somewhere in either %programdata%, %appdata%, or %localappdata%. I came across them while browsing around. Not sure if just replacing them back will work or not. Perhaps someone could look more into it as I'm busy at the moment.
