Yesterday I downloaded a OS X 10.7.3 virtualbox image from the Internet. After some changes to setup all going fine except that I cannot setup the monitor for native resolution at 1366x768, only I can do is to use the default monitor resolution at 1024 x768.
The question is :Can we setup VM's to have full screen resolution with Lion OS X?
I tried Mountain Lion OS X 10.8 in virtual environement with both Virtualbox and VMware and the issue is present due the screen resolution...

I don't know if this will help or not as I don't have much experience with OSX, but it was a good 'Work Around' in some XP VM's

Instead of connecting directly to your OSX VM, can you conect to it remotely, Via RDP or something ?

@ZaForD, while your advice holds for Windoze , it is completely useless for Mac, sorry

He just needs to swap VB for Vmware Workstation & all will work fine, no other way

And insanelymac is still the best place to visit

I just run VMware Tools in 10.8 and everything works. No need to download shady 3rd-party tools.
