Hi members! Got an Adjustable DC Regulated Power Supply Model "Best PS-15014A", with current and voltage indicators and 2 output ranges : 0~15V, 0~1A and 0~7.5V, 0~0.5A using in particular a 220V~20VDC transformer and a power transistor TIP32A. Please help as how to convert My power supply into a DC power source outputting 0~10V, 0~1.5A, which I need for repair purpose.

There is also the possibility it will work as is: 15V x 1A = 15 watts. 10V x 1 1/2A also = 15 watts, the same power rating. The TIP32A is rated for 3A collector current. Assuming the TIP32A has adequate heat sinking, it will work fine. Just go ahead and try it. Shut it off if it becomes too warm or something smells a little funny.
You could mod your power supply, but to be honest, your best bet is to buy a lab supply from ebay. Especially if you're going to be using it a lot.
