Since I've been workin' for testing Se7en_UA to restoring licence on slic bios which I've patched with search engine bios mods in vmware, I also try to installed in a real machine. As I try to install vmware on x64 system, when I try to map virtual disk it have an error message "failed to initialize library for mounting or unmounting ...". So I try to googlin maybe there's an answer, I find some thread it failed to initialize becuz it installed with administrative installation, so I uninstall n I try again but still failed. I've searching on vmware site n download the virtual disk management but still failed. Do any one here know the answer? I've been 6 days till now try to finish my job as I've promised to someone so if someone here in the forums know the answer or the sollution I really appreciated.

    Regards

What I mean here how do I mount or mapping virtual disk on x64 host since the library failed to initialize? Do I have to make an extra switch command on vmware installation?

If you map it from within Workstation 7.0.1 then you should not have any problems (what version are you trying on?)

Just tested it on Seven x64 Ent with no problems

Actually I'm using the same version as u do, hmm, maybe it's becuz the part of vmware itself have been removed? I was download n using the lite version made by someone from the other forums. I'm just curious, what part of vmware that required or needed to initialize the virtual disk library properly on x64? Or maybe i've to manually registrate the *.dll with regsvr command?

That is always a potential problem when one uses hacked bits, much more difficult to troubleshoot
Just install full version & I am sure it will work after that
