How to install ENGLISH as DEFAULT system language in Windows 10

    Modded version of windows 10 with russian as the default language can't change the system language when adding a language pack. Is there anyway to slip stream or add a language to the .iso so I can chose english instead being stuck with russian? Thanks!

    Why you use modded russian version , download again english version , that version is locked only in russian language!

    Curious question: WHY didn't use the original ESD/ISO from Microsoft (which is free to download from MS Servers) for to install Windows 10 instead of using an (Frankenbuild?) Russian Version?

    its a lighter version consumes only 5gb of HD space (useful for small SSD's) and uses very little ram. 400mb on x86.

    Go for the Enterprise LTSB version!! Read about that version here at MDL for to decide!

    @5gb of HD space

    With WinSxS slim-downed, it could be treated as EMBEDDED.

    To make it in your language,

    1. copy your language folders

    2. change MUI settings

    That is all you can do about. HARD for normal user.

    how exactly would I go about doing that.. :s i just have the iso, what else do i need to make the default language English in the install and OS.

    I cannot tell you how because I do not have the ISO to look into.

    Ask him to make one for you. He always make zh-CN, and the PCBETA guys worship him as God-Almighty.

    Maybe latokin or what - also an MDL member, but he shows up silently without speaking, I cannot remember.

    Could you show me the linK of the web site, NOT the ISO - homebrew link is not allowed here?

    It's Windows 10 TH1 or TH2 ? Because this is what was in 2015.

    Brownie ...... you need to be more clear .

    The picture is from the instalation ...... in russian ........... why not try to get an english instalation ......... and just swap the english install.wim and replace it with the russian homebrew install .wim ? Then once its in change the language .
