How to install VB6 on Windows 8.1 64?

    Has anyone tried it? And if yes, can you give me some download links and a short tutorial?

    I've tried to download VB6 Enterprise and it prompts me with the compatibility issue.

    Yes you can install and run the VB6 programming IDE on Windows 8.1 64 bit.

    Remember to 'Run as administrator'

    VB6 Programming on Windows 7 or 8

    A simple way to install the VB6 IDE on Windows 7 or 8, 32bit or 64bit, is to use the following installer:-

    w w w.facebook.com/MicrosoftVB/posts/794308257278593 (remove the spaces)

    This makes it easier to install the VB6 IDE. You still need your VB6 CD and license number.

    VB6 programming seems to be supported on Windows 10 too. Applications run on the Windows 10 technical preview and the VB6 IDE installs correctly.
