Everytime I try to install Windows 8, it always tries to install it on current HDD. I am using MagicDisc to mount and then install.

    Any idea?

    Format a partition (D:\) for Windows 8.

Extract all the ISO file into a single folder with 7Zip or Winrar.

    Run setup.exe and select D:\.

The easiest way to do is just to run the Setup.exe in the Sources folder on the disc after you mount it. It will give you the option to do a Custom install and put it anywhere.
