Hi, I'm trying to integrate several opperating systems and versions into one iso, so then I only have to find one DVD to install an OS, I'd also like to automatically install programs like AVG free and maybe office if it will fit. I have no idea how to do it, can anyone help me? thanks
I think it'll be difficult to put XP, Vista and Seven on one DVD, without removing some wim image. You'll need one DVD9 for that.
The versions I have allow me to get rid of languages and to save space in Vlite. I'd also get rid of things like various drivers that are bundled in the os's as I already have all the drivers I need.
Copy Win7 32 dvd to c:\win. Copy XP to c:\win, rename start.exe. nlite XP vlite (or RT7 Lite) win7 (remove languages, they save about 400 meg) export wims to c:\win edit bcd to look for XP make silent apps and install them with sswpi or WPI. brag about your uber disk.
i have 3 in 1 Multi DVD ISO with WinPE 3.0, Windows 7 (multi OEM), windows XP (integrated with massstorage driverpack & OEMSCAN addon) this is how it works: copy xp to folder (c:\win) copy win 7 to same folder (c:\win) (replace anything) copy winpe's wim file inside sources folder (c:\win\sources) (renamed first to wimpe.wim) open cmd & go to c:\win\boot type this Code: bcdedit /store bcd /copy {default} /d "Windows PE 3.0" it will generate new guid then Code: bcdedit /store bcd /set {newguid} DEVICE ramdisk=[boot]\sources\winpe.wim,{7619dcc8-fafe-11d9-b411-000476eba25f} Code: bcdedit /store bcd /set {newguid} OSDEVICE ramdisk=[boot]\sources\winpe.wim,{7619dcc8-fafe-11d9-b411-000476eba25f} Code: bcdedit /store bcd /set {default} description "Windows 7 Setup" Code: bcdedit /store bcd /create {ntldr} /d "Windows XP Professional SP3 Setup" Code: bcdedit /store bcd /set {ntldr} device boot Code: bcdedit /store bcd /set {ntldr} path \I386\SETUPLDR.BIN Code: bcdedit /store bcd /displayorder {ntldr} /addfirst Code: bcdedit /store bcd /set {bootmgr} displaybootmenu yes for making iso file you can use cdimage here's the command: cdimage.exe -h -j1 -u1 -c -bc:\etfsboot.com -m -o -lGRMCULFRER_EN c:\win c:\GRMCULFRER_EN_DVD.iso you can replace winpe's wim file with vista wim if you want
