I just wanna know if my BIOS has SLIC 2.1.
What should i do>?thanks in advanced
Have you checked out http://www.mydigitallife.net/2009/0...sion-is-slp-oa-2-0-or-2-1-for-oem-activation/ ?
You can use the SLIC DUMP ToolKit x86/x64
The above 2 methods required that one flashed the bios first. For AMI and Award Bios, I understand that you can determine the Slic status by opening the bios file with the respective mod tools.
How about Phoenix Bios? Any tutorial on how to determine the Slic version BEFORE flashing?
You make a mistake.
SLIC DUMP ToolKit x86/x64 shows you whats your current bios status.
If you have NOT modded your bios with SLIC 2.1 it ll show you SLIC 2.0(if you have not use any loader)
I believe what he meant is there a way to check a bios file for slic status. Not the bios already on a computer.
