    1) Find out if you have AMI or Award bios (use CPU-Z for example)
    2) Find out what mainboard name CPU-Z reports, maybe you'll find a bios for it
    3) Depending on AMI/Award get the corresponding flash tool and use it to make a backup.

If it's a Phoenix bios you can also make a backup to use for modding but they are harder to mod.

Ok then get the tool required for flashing phoenix from DOS.
This should have an option to dump a backup to disk. Give this to a good modder and he/she will make a SLIC 2.1 mod for you.

Note however that modding Phoenix can be a little risk. But a little birdy told me that there might be a tool for it in a few days or weeks. That should make it safer.

Still, the first the is to get a bios backup/dump.
I don't know the exact process but I'm pretty sure forum search or google is your friend. Look for "backup phoenix bios" or "dump phoenix bios" or "flash phoenix from dos" and see if you can find the backup command.
Heck, even WinPhlash can do it for your afaik.
