How to modify a BIOS? (I do not mean SLIC)

    Hello, I would like to know how to modify an AMI BIOS,I do not mean SLIC, but to remove options, etc..

    Is possible?

    Which version is the latest? is an official program of AMI? How I can for example, modify the BIOS toremove supporting IDE, or ports that do not use, for example?
