(I cannot post link) It is AMI but behave as EFI/Insyde, so I need a Phoenix Modify tool 1.42 to modify with SLIC and Cert 2.1 for ASUS Notebook. All went well with module or dynamic method but SSV2. However I cannot activate Win 7 Ultimate OEM. When I used SLIC tool kit V3.2, it gave an error messge for not having slic table. What shoud I do? Try to do it more than 5 times with different SLIC files and Certificates. Thank a lot in advance,

I got the same problem with X42JY Bios rev 211, very similar behavior as Delixis'. Used Phoenix tools 1.80 SLIC Asus 2.1 Cert Asus ssv2, it says one pub key matches and one pub key does not match. I tried to mod it as is with "easy flash" and it worked. The Slic 2.1 is inserted but I cannot activate with known working OEM SLP key. Is there a safer way to try as ssv2 custom already bricked his bios?

Thank you again and any suggestion on the new one for bios modification? Oh! I forgot to mention that last time I booted from USB drive and use aflash2 with /All switch, all went well until writing flash. It went to only 25% and stop. Nothing further and came out as a brick one. Thank again for your help, PS: I have done more than 20+ PCMB and 10+ Notebook for Bios Mod and from Vista to 7. This one is only problem I have got, so far.

This after flash??? There is no SLIC table... Easyflash may be the best flash option if it is available...
Yes, that one after modify bios. I don't have original one. And yes, Easyflash went very well for new Machine (RMA it today). Using Surg008 posted bios and registered with his included cert. All went very (excited) well and Windows is now activated. Thank you very much to Surg008. Without you, I would have no idea how to get it to work. For that recovery procedure, I think that it would not work since, we use /all switch on aflash2. It eased all blocks and not re-write code back, yet. So, boot blocks would also damage and will not get back on.
