I previously always used the OPA tool and now I'm confused on this method. I used the pheonix tool and then flashed to those modded bios, but now I don't understand what to do for a key and certificate? With OPA tool it was easy to install them, doing the pheonix way I don't know what to do.

    ASUS Z87-A 1707 bios

    Please help, I'm a noob! :fear2:

    Slic is for Vista & Win7. Win8x uses OA3.

amiflash.zip contains among others the folders, "Aptio" and "AptioV". Each of them has afuwin inside.

    Just to make sure,
I need AFUWINGUI.EXE from AfuWin64 (Win installation is x64) from the "Aptio" folder? Ignore "AptioV" right?

How can I make sure the procedure was successful and no remnants were left behind?

    Thanks for your patience.

Hello, I am also here requesting help with removing modifications to bios. I tried Coderush method but his files don't run on my system (FPT wont run on platform). I am using a P8H77-M/CSM I believe when I modded this bios I used DMI or New Module. I can't remember one wasn't working because it was a cap file and when I used other it worked. I cant even backup bios because it's "protected". What I want is to use bios from website and have all modifications removed. Think my UEFI is messed up and SATA is buggy. I tried using bupdater but that wouldn't backup bios either. Any possible solutions?

edit: I was able to use afuwingui to save the bios and got this info with FD44

    Motherboard name: P8H77-M
    BIOS date: 03/07/2014
    BIOS version: 1306
    ME version: 8.1.2.1318 (1.5M)
    GbE version: Not present
    Primary LAN MAC: 60A44C5031F4
    DTS key: Not present
    UUID: C019FC4E23D8DD11AB3B60A44C5031F4
    MBSN: 130106723204818

Is it possible to use afuwin/dos to remove locks and reflash to get a fresh flash. I can use program all block, boot block, nvram, recovery, capsule, and all non critical blocks. Problem is I don't know what those functions do ( can guess some of them ). I saved the info I got from FD44 to the bios I downloaded from asus and it changed the file type from a cap to a bin

First, sorry for my English very bad :D

My motherboard is ASUS B85 Pro Gamer with BIOS 2001

I used both MML Tool and Phoenix Tool for insert SLIC 2.1 but i can't flash it to my motherboard.
I'm get "security verification failed" on EZ Flash and Bupdater

I try New Module method (Guide by akcent) / Using MMTool. -> flash Failed
Phoenix Tool with Dynamic Method -> Failed
Phoenix Tool with DMI Method -> get "DMI empty"

Can I use another tool for flash ?

Plz help me :D thanks you all

    -Rw-everything report : mega.co.nz/#!DRcFTDga!7RgaXRNvYPuYONNO7s0Q7z0ZnemPAebNXKBGVuPkS0c

i find forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/5863-Award-amp-AMI-Bios-mod-requests/page4545?p=771336&viewfull=1#post771336 tutorial but have some question:

are you use the slic & key from phonenixtool or from diferent site?
    Where in find the cert?
is compatible with Windows 7 UEFI boot?
not sure if Rw-everything report are need? (from the tutorial i see is not compatible but read someone use it)
