Hi I recently downloaded a preactivated ver of windows vista Ultimate sp1 and it works fine with no problems. now I am thinking of upgrading to Win7.
is there a way to make a preactivated ver of win 7 ultimate that will work on my laptop and desktop??

or do I need to resort to the loaders ??

The easiest way is to download one of the untouched ISO's from the repositories, burn it, install it, uncheck "Activate when online"
Grab DAZ's loader and use that.

    Simplest way and most effective

Good luck and any more questions ask away. There are some very knowledgeable people here who won't bite your head off for a "stupid" question.

It does not go in the root. You put it in the Sources folder.

Yes use PowerISO to inject the OEM folder into the Sources folder and then burn it.
