How To reduce Image Size

    Hi all i'm new to WIN 7 edit
    i wanna shrink the size of wim and image size in it just like this

    i asked the maker of this win7 iso he said i used dism and waik How To Do this please ??

    Hi TimoMazzika,

    I use GimageX (imageX with a GUI) to create and edit Wim files. It's very easy to use and you can choose compression level (fast/normal/maximum).

    Putting both x86 and x64 indexes on the same install.wim will reduce the size quite a bit as about 50% of the files in the x64 version are duplicates of the ones in the x86 version.

    To make them, you simply export the indexes to a new install.wim using max compression.
    You can use dism, imagex, or gimagex v2
