I too use Adblock Plus add on for firefox; it's working flawlessly.

    No issues at all.

i use adblock plus but find AdwCleaner extremely useful too

AdwCleaner is a free removal tool for :

    Adware (ads softwares)
    PUP/LPI (Potentially Undesirable Program)
    Toolbars
Hijacker (Hijack of the browser's homepage)

I use Adguard Firefox extension. Much better than Adblock Plus in my own opinion.

    Adguard is the best option.

Another Adguard fan here. I grabbed a "good for 180 days" version from a promotional link that sid_16 provided. Supposedly, this promotional version had to be installed and activated within 30 days of the promotion. I saved a copy to my cloud server and I'm glad I did. Someone didn't do a very good job of testing the "must be activated within the 30 day promotional window" feature, because I can (and have on many computers) install anytime I want and get a 180 day period from it.

I'm using AdBlock Plus + Disable Anti-Adblock + Flashblock on Firefox. No more ads anymore. :p

Same here, not available on mozilla addons site.Available only on adguard website.

Edit: btw using Bluhell firewall (firefox). Howcome Adguard selling their windows product for $20 but giving free extensions for chrome,FF,safari and opera.
