How to remove floppy on W7

    To confirm I found out! I disabled it thru device manager:
    start -> devmgmt.msc ->ok, right-click on the floppy and disable. Even had no reboot. Icon hidden.

    If you don''t need it any more go to the bios setup and disable it. Windows won't see ti.

    just turn it off in the bios :rolleyes:

    Sure BIOS also is a way. I just was interested in how to make in thru os. :confused:

    ok then you dont need to do any thing to the registry:rolleyes: just go into device manager find the floppy disable it from there :)
