    hello friends need some advice.

    for example.

i have windows xp running well and then after a few days windows system is corrupted it says try recovery mode but i did not go to recovery mode instead i installed windows xp again in same partition without reformatting the disk so the old system is still there after i installed xp there is an option to load windows it looks like this "Microsoft Windows XP Professional" that on the first line, and in the second line that's the same "Microsoft Windows XP Professional" the first line is working because i thought that was the new installed xp and the second line is not working maybe that was the old system. now my problem is, how to remove the second line without affecting the first line which is working one and i want directly windows to load wihout being redirected to load option. thanks..

Right click My Computer/Properties/Advanced/Startup & Recovery Settings/Edit & delete the second line
