    use search > type in netplwiz > a window opens that gives you the chance to type in you password, uncheck box with user must use pass (or such) > confirm it and restart. You should no longer be asked for your pass.

    I used Always, from the old windows xp, the control userpasswords2 command:

    Desktop -> icon start in the lower left side -> right click mouse -> run: control userpasswords2

    and put what you want

    Use "netplwiz", it's shorter..
    Besides it's 8.1 not XP..

    If you mean for auto login, you can try to change or add this script to the registry

    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
    "AutoAdminLogon"="1"
    "LastUsedUsername"="Account Name"
    "DefaultUserName"="Account Name"
    "DefaultDomainName"="PC-Name"
    "DefaultPassword"="Password"
    "ForceAutoLogon"="1"

    :)

    I know very very well that the subject is Windows 8.1.

    the: "Desktop -> icon start in the lower left side -> right click mouse -> run: control userpasswords2"

    obviously means: In the Win8.1 Desktop.......icon start of win 8.1..... etc. etc.

    Bye

    I have no idea what has happened to your system but one is for sure: It has nothing to do with "netplwiz"

    how did you activate your enterprise?

    Perhaps missing drivers cause that issue or an outdated bios. Also can be some hardware problems like bad RAM, a dieing disc or a video card which is not correctly supported by W8.1 out of the box

    Thare are only two reasons for that.

    1. Your pc is infacted.
    2. Your HDD is overheat or demage.

    Check it out but i think that you got some virus.
